rainforest

The rainforest is made up of 4 different layers. The first layer is the emergent layer The emergent layer is the top layer of the rainforest. There are only a few animals that live in the emergent layer,also in this layer it is windy,hot,wet in the emergent layer. The second layer is called the canopy layer The canopy layer is located underneath the emergent layer. The canopy layer is found to most of the animals and plants of the rainforest. There is also enough of food and shelter in the emergent layer. The third layer is called the understory layer, the understory layer is located under the canopy layer. The understory does not get enough sunlight because it is covered by the emergent layer and that's why it is dark and humid in there. The under story is home to smaller animals and larger animals. The Last and final layer is called the forest floor layer. The last layer of the rainforest is the forest floor layer. It is also dark and humid in their and also only 5% of sunlight makes it to the forest floor.
